What are my obligations to owners and tenants?

Regular servicing of ATU’s in properties that you manage ensures compliance with State Health legislations - enforced by local government authorities in Western Australia. For more detailed information about the obligations please read Section 8 (Maintenance) of the Code of Practice for the Design, Manufacture, Installation and Operation of Aerobic Treatment Units or contact the Environmental Health Officer of the relevant Local Government Authority.

Why is it important for the property owner?

Pro-active maintenance highlights possible issues resulting in expensive and unpleasant malfunctions of ATU systems.

The ATU system will work better with regular maintenance, tenant education and the use of approved household cleaning products. We recommend Enviroplus - available in our online shop.
