How to choose a septic safe toilet paper

If you have an alternative wastewater treatment system (AWTS), Aerobic Treatment Unit (ATU) or septic system you will need to carefully consider at all times what you are putting down your toilets and drains. Which toilet tissue is right for your situation?

Follow our five steps to choosing the best septic, AWTS and ATU safe toilet paper.

Step 1: Make sure your toilet paper contains no polymer glues (these contribute to the cause of blockages).

Step 2: Choose a toilet paper that is 100% recycled . Recycled material breaks down much quicker than virgin materials.
